Last night Terry said that the only thing he enjoys more than seeing USC lose a game is seeing LSU win one. Thanks to the mighty Oregon State Beavers, he stands to do both this weekend. I am generally against the idea of Thursday night college football. (It just seems like overkill.) I actually didn't even see the 4th quarter last night since a girl does need her beauty sleep and all. Not to worry though, because The Grier gave me a full-on, play-by-play recap before I even had a chance to brush my teeth or imbibe any caffeine. I'm sure Pete Carroll felt even more out-of-sorts when he woke up this morning. Congratulations to the Beavers for busting the Trojans—I think there may be a really inappropriate joke in there somewhere—and here's to making it a perfect college football weekend. I'm hoping for the following trifecta: USC loses, Texas and LSU win. We are 1/3 of the way there.
