Breakfast Mario Batali Style
I really enjoy eating breakfast. And while there are plenty of different items for this first meal of the day, I tend to gravitate back to the classic bacon and eggs (over easy) with dry toast. Recently I purchased an ipad app called "Mario Batali Cooks!". This app has helped me take my cooking to a new level. Not in a fancy way but by showing me balance.
This asparagus and duck egg recipe is not listed as a breakfast dish but it worked out nicely. Throw in a couple of pieces of bacon for good measure and wow you have a great meal to start your day.
