We spent last weekend in Houston with Vickie's dad and had an awesome time celebrating Father's Day in Cypress. We got in on Friday, had some burgers and beer on the back patio while the puppies played in their gorgeous back yard. Saturday, we looked at some necessary goodies at Harbor Freight and Tool and then saw the Astros whoop the Mariners at Minute Made Park. Great seats, great eats, great game, and a newfound beer we enjoyed: Land Shark Lager (apparently a Jimmie Buffet creation). Sunday, we went to church and then lunch at the Red Onion Cafe, a Houston chain that bills its food as "latin fusion." Very tasty indeed...lots of fresh, tangy flavors. The meal caused Vickie to fall into the obligatory food coma watching the US Open, while Terry helped with some computer updates and preached the "Google Gospel" to Elizabeth. Good times!
